March 29, 2010 was just a normal day sitting and rocking waiting April 7th to just hurry up and get here!Shelby was still at school, and Pat had came home early and was just not himself at all and was very emotional... he said Hanya there is something wrong and I was like what is it? He said "Hanya I'm LOST" I was a emotional wreck... if this didn't throw me into to labor nothing was... So he jumped in the shower and when he got out he ran over to talk to James. James had just gotten home and the house was full of therapist but it didn't bother them for they knew who Pat was and he knew who they were.. He Told James that he need to talk to him and to grab his BIBLE.. so James did and they headed off to Jadens Room.

So when Pat told James what was going on James then Led My Husband to the LORD! I never knew in the 20 years of being with my husband that he was Lost! So on March 29, 2009 My husband received Christ as his Personal Savior! And Little Jaden was James Silent Partner for he didn't make one peep while James was going over the verses and Praying with Uncle Pat.

Moving Back Home

After five months living at James and Kacey's it was our turn to return HOME..Shelby was so sad and I was sad that we was leaving too....But we had a home to get ready for Seth.. Jaden was gonna be lost without Shelby Ann!

We had a Wonderful five months together..taking turns cooking , cleaning, helping take care of Jaden, Home work, therapy, Dr. appointments, But guess what we did it all together..I was gonna miss Kacey Jumping up in the middle of the night running to put Paci back in for Jaden and the Smell of Coffee when James left for work....beings I didn't sleep through the night and was up and down to pee about every hour, I was even gonna miss the man next door up through the night standing in the kitchen window!!! I know Kacey was Sad to see Shelby go for this was her lil Girl from the start... But we did nothing but make memories... and we would do it again! (If they would let us)...heheh

I was now ready to make my nest! and getting things moved back in ..
so her it was just a start.

34 weeks: Well This was the day I had been looking forward to and I had planned to go to Komo where I had Shelby's Pictures made but due to my tail being broke it was hard to sit and take pictures just any old way! 30 Weeks: As if the Gestational Diabetes wasn't enough I had fell down James a Kacey's steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yes down the STEPS....7 of them! carrying a basket of clothes down.I waited a day or two to go to the Dr.. Cause I thought it was just my pride that was hurt but instead I had Broke My Tail bone and there wasn't nothing they could do! I was in serious pain, but just had to learn to sit a new way or Just lay!

28 Weeks

This is the week I had to go for the GLUCOSE Test and I hated even thinking about it, I had gained 5 pounds in a month and Dr. Sebree wasn't to worried but I was hoping I could pass it.....Test are back and FAILED
Had to go back and do the 4 hour test....and man this wasn't fun at all! The longer I sat the sicker I got!!
after a 3 days the Test was Back and Yes I Had GESTATIONAL DIABETES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was not what i wanted to here! So I had to start pricking my finger and we was gonna control by diet and a pill...... I left it in the Lord's hands cause I couldn't eat anything without it shooting the sugar level up! and Shelby she always helped me to remember to check it all because she like sticking me! was to go back in 1week!

On November the 17th the Baby started kicking and man what a blessing.... it had been over eight years since I had this feeling and I was really aware that it was getting closer.
The Next morning i Had woke Pat up telling him I was hurting and hurting BAD.. We went to ER and had everything checked out and it was a UTI and I was spotting so they Did a Ultra Sound...and not really thinking about it at the time the lady said "do you know what your having" and we said NO...she said "do you want to know" and of course we said yes~!

Yes that was Music to my ears but still couldn't believe her! I always said if I knew I would have a boy next I would have another one!!!! I guess the Joke was on me!

I'm Back

The Last post was The official ultrasound of my newest addition to the family and I am gonna start from there:

September 2009:

Sunday 27th My mammaw Rosie went home to be with the Lord, I did get to tell her that we were expecting. We burried her on the 29th of September. On this same day Shelby was in the Little Sara contest for Lincoln days and she placed second place.

Pat and I was deciding if we needed to sell our house and get something bigger or just remodel our home! And We decided to just gut our whole house and make more room and put Shelby Ann up stairs....But we had to wait till Pats work slowed up a bit so that he could do it all himself.

On the 17th of October we all went to the color fest at Bernheim Forest to take Family Pics!

On Friday August 21st I had my first ultrasound to determine just how far along I was, and "BOOM" there it was my little bean and its heart was just a beating... It was real and only six weeks and 6days. "O How God Is Good" I was still in a little shock but was also relived when they told me that there was just one! Dr. Sebree thought that I was measuring bigger than just six weeks and said that there may be TWO..... but there was just one little bun in the oven.

Saturday August the 15th my baby turned 8 years old! She was so excited and could not wait to see her cake that her aunt Kacey made her and man was she surprised!Hannah Montana guitar cake! she was so excited! The Kids enjoyed swimming and singing Karaoke and swinging, playing on the big slide. It was the perfect weather for a special little girls birthday girl! Even the grown ups enjoyed singing!!!!

As you can see Shelby had a great birthday and friends and family was there to enjoy the food fun and Presents!

The News Is In

The past week or so has been real long because I had not felt the best and something was just not right, I thought that loosing Sassy and Shelby now back in school that I was just sad and lonely but to my surprise I figured it out! PREGNANT yes in deed that is what it was, I was in shock as you can see three sticks and they all was telling me the same thing! I was in SHOCK SHOCK........Shelby will be 8 years old on Saturday and it has Just been me and her and will she be mad? Everything was running through my head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pat he was on cloud 9 and how was I going to tell every body!

So when I picked Shelby up yesterday Pat and I sat her down and told her we had a early Birthday Present and that she would have to wait a few months to get it, and She said " What is it Mom and why do I have to wait" I said "Well Shelby your going to be a BIG SISTER Mommy is going to have a baby" She went Crazy!!!! Jumping on the Bed and yelling, I was so glad that she was excited and she wanted to call Every body. I had Already told My Mom and Sisters, but Jaden was the First one I told, the Day I took the test I had to watch him for a little while and I was Praying asking God to help me and Pat to be as good of Parent as Kacey and James has been to Jaden, He is so special to me and forever will always be.... I told Jaden that Aunt Hay Hay was going to be another Mommy and that he would have another Cousin to play with and that I wanted him to help me pray and ask God to help me tell Shelby that she was going to be a big sis! Jadens Smile is one in a million and he lights up my World just as Shelby did when she was Little and still does.

So Everything went smooth and everyone thought I would never have any more, and by the way "I thought I was done to" but God saw otherwise. My Mom said that she already knew and Kacey well she was in shock just as much as I was , Tess thought that it was funny that me and her both were going to be pregnant at the same time. Pat's Mom and Dad said the more the better and as you know Pat is one of 10,but we will not be going that far. So in April we will be new Parents to a new baby! We are going to leave it up to Shelby Ann to see if she wants to know what it is or keep it a SURPRISE!!!

First week Back

This was the first week back to school For Shelby Ann and Nate, As you may not know it was also the first time in the Public school system!

Shelby Got up that First morning all pumped and ready to go,backpack on and here we go!

She didn't cry until she saw her Mammaw in the hall, You see She has been with my Mother since she was 12 weeks old and Mom was her K-4 and K5 teacher and was always there right next door if shelby needed her, so this was hard on My mom to.
It lasted a few mins but then everything was fine, she had a great day and was starving when i picked her up.

Shelby is My big third grader and I am so Proud of her for being so brave and strong during this big change in her life, and Nate's to he has been the big Sport in the whole situation, and shelby is of course the MOMMY HEN! I know that this year is going to be great and a new experience But God is with them here and always.
It did not take long for the nap to take place when she got home the first day! It was 3:45 and she was out!

Weekend Get Away

Yes I have been away for a few days just have not felt like talking or doing much, but I am better with the fact that Sassy is gone and it was a week this weekend so we took a little trip to just get away and to spend sometime with the kids and my niece Shallan. We went to Holiday World! The Kids loved it when we popped up over the hill coming down the highway and they saw those big rides they went crazy!!!!! The new Pilgrim's Plunge was a little to big....But we will be braver next year! So we started out on the spiders...

Today I Lost My Best Friend

Yesterday was just a normal old day, nothing really to do but sit outside and let the kids play because it was still to cool to swim and we could not really go anywhere because we had the last night of V.B.S. So Me and the kids and My dog Sassy was all out side just hanging out when all of a sudden we noticed that Sassy was gone! we hollered and yelled and looked but nothing! I got on the 4wheeler road in the weeds and the soybean field and nothing! I was in shock it was like she had just vanished, we looked some more and the kids went to the neighbors doors and told them and still nothing!
We called Pat who was still at work and he brought the crew home and they searched and still nothing, it was getting time to get ready for V.B.S so I had to leave and he said that he would stay and look. So when I got back home I was hoping that she was standing in My kitchen, but nothing!

She took off at around 2:00 o'clock and it know was getting around 8:30, and I was afraid that if we did not find her before dark she would not find her way home because she had cataracts and could not see good, so the search was on again all the way up until 11:30 and still nothing, I started thinking the worst due to living on the busiest road in the state I knew she would not last long. So we left the back door open hoping she would come and scratch at the back door but she didn't.

It is now 4:00 in the morning and still nothing it is getting ready to storm,"o" she hates storms and she will die out there she absolutely hates the thunder and lighting and what will she do, I hollered and hollered, My hope was gone, it is 6:00 and it is storming so bad and lighting i just knew she was scared, I layed back down and waited til it was over and about 8:30 we took out again, and we road down the road that we had drove down 50 times hollering one more time, And there she was laying in a ditch," Sassy was GONE" she had walked so far and was so scared from the storm that she must have fell over with stroke or heart attack, it was like she said"I am tired" and layed down and died, she was still warm and not even wet from the rain when Pat picked her up and put her in the truck, I was devastated, screaming and crying blaming myself what if we had went out sooner? She looked perfect what could have happened Shelby Ann said,

how do you answer to a 7 year old when you don't know the answer yourself?

You see this just aint a story of a lost dog, she was My Best Friend and I had had her for 13 years and this was just not like her to just take off . I got Sassy Mae when she was 8weeks old just 2 weeks after Pat and I married and she was my first baby! she loved only me, she had love for others but it was not the same. This Girl knew more secrets than anyone else that I had told, she could really have told a story on me if she could have. She had won dog shows, Shelby had showed her off in the fair, She was my mouse patrol dog and she loved the swimming pool!

The Polar Express

This week was Vacation Bible School at our Church and the title this year was the Polar Express. We had about an average of 65 to 70 children each night and there was 8 souls saved, Praise the Lord.

And each night there was a penny offering, boys against the girls. The Pennies this year was going to an orphanage in Uzbekistan where one of our Missionaries are at,that we support so that they could have Bible school. We collected over $350.00 in pennies and believe me it was a good running against the boys and the girls, although the boys did win over all. The pennies was weighed in the BIG SCALE , yellow side the girls and the white side the boys.The Big Scale

Shelby and her new friend Ellie from Midland Texas, She was visiting one of our members from church and she was one of the little girls that accepted Christ! I already cant wait until next year!

A Trip to the Eye Doctor

Yesterday we took Shelby and Nate to the Eye Doctor to get their eyes checked for school and to our surprise they had to be DILATED! Shelby was not happy at first and Nate he had never been dilated so he didn't know what to expect. But they did just fine and everything checked out great but leaving was a little hard beings they could not see very good:)

So after the appointment we decided to stop by Wendy's and get something to eat and take it to Freeman Lake. This is their favorite place to go have picnics and feed the ducks

As you can see they got those shades on cause they cant see!

They just love coming here!

And of course while the kids played on the play ground mom and me just sat and watched how the two of then have grown up so fast and that they may not always get along, but they do love each other!

I Never Thought

Today was a day that I thought I would never have to experience, But I did! I took a Little girl to a place she had never been before, you see Shelby has always associated school with church because that is where my sisters and me went, but this year is going to be different! Larue Baptist is not going to have enough students to keep the A Beka Book Program, and that is real sad leaving me no choice to put my little Shelby in the Public school system. I mean don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the public schools I also went there up until the 7th grade and loved it, I am just upset that out church wont support the school 100% and it has been this way for year.
Shelby and Nate are a pair so he will be going to,and the kids are excited and they don't know that we are sad and we will never let them know we are, we are trying to make it exciting for them and they are asking questions like do we get to eat there and do we have to take our LUNCH...... They had to at Larue Baptist, so this is a big thing. They got to meet their Teachers Yesterday as well and we seem to like both of them so this a good start.

So on Thursday August 6 My little Girl Will be attending Hodgenville Elementary school, So Please pray that this will be a good transition for both of them.

Today has been a real rainy day and just nothing to do and Shelby if you have ever been around her she just sings all the time, in front of the mirror, on the pot and in the tub, I mean its all the time. She will even sing in church with Kacey and Me.

So today I was working on Pat's books and trying to concentrate but she was just a singing so when I turned around there sat the next AMERICAN IDOL! Just let me tell you she was getting with it, Taylor Swift better watch out!!!!!!! Because here comes Shelby Ann........

Maybe she will be this bold at the end of the month when she has to sing in the Pageant!

Sunshine and Pool Time

Today was a good day for swimming Shelby said this morning when she woke up,and Of course this is the first thing that comes out of her mouth every morning the sun is shining. So to the Pool we go, straight out the back door and to the deck we go! Yea we didn't have to go far! shelby was so excited that I had called kelsey to come back over to swim today and she didn't know it.

It was so pretty our dog Sassy even laid out!

Sunday Night Out

Yesterday Shelby wanted to go out to eat and take Aunt Kacey and Uncle James, But as you know in the past we have not been able to just up and ask and them be able to go. So she says lets go to Mike Lining's to eat, I will call and ask them! so she did, and Kacey and James Said yes! she was so excited and Jaden came along to. It takes about an hour to get there and Jaden did Just fine. We had a great time and got to sit outside and enjoy the view. Jaden even did great coming home.

You see the point in this part of my blog is that Kacey and James has always been a big part of Shelby's life and with Jaden here now and Shelby knowing how sick he has been she has missed doing these things and she sees a different Jaden, He has gotten better and more like a baby and she wants to do more with him, play , hold him, talk to him, take and go places. God truly has Let Shelby and Nate see the meaning of a sick baby and if you could only hear there prayers each and every night for the past 16months it would just melt your heart, this is a big part of there life and James and Kacey was just there highlight and with Jaden it has just gotten BRIGHTER.

When Shelby Prayed last night she said "Lord thank you for letting Uncle James and Aunt Kacey and Baby Jaden for getting to go with us and please heal Jaden so that he don't have to have any more surgery's or be in the hospital" this is every night and when we say GRACE it does not matter where or when.

My Prayer is "Lord thank you for allowing me to have My Sister back, she was gone for so long and I have missed the times together, be with her family as you are with mine".

Tonight was shelby's award ceremony at the Ball Park, and she got two trophies this year one for the league and the other for first place in the Tournament! way to go shelby Ann we are so proud of you.

Tonight we got to watch Jaden so his mommy and Daddy could go out to eat and pick up his pictures! While they were gone we got to have a lot of fun with Jaden!

Shelby wanted to camp out in the Floor with him and he loved it! He is so glued at her when she is around! she talks to him and of coarse wants to hold him! He just Loves her!

and to top it all off his little feet got cold so she put some of her socks on his feet and they looked like boots on him:)

So that was our nite and then the lil Bug had to go Home!

Girl's Swim Update

Today Was Great! We had a blast swimming and spending time with Kacey, Jaden and Mom. Shelby is like a little water dog and wants to splash all the time, so when Jaden cames she knows that you cant do that.

Jaden he didnt want to get out he just wanted to keep on swimming and swimming!

Today I will get the Joy of taking my other Sister to the Dr. The find out for sure how far along she is! As the oldest I have gotten to do this with both Sisters, it is a true joy sharing in their moment and being there for them. Kacey was the First, She gave me a sweet Nephew Jaden, and now my baby sis! Tessie will be making me another Aunt! God has Brought Tess through some hard times and this will maker her stronger. We pray for God to guide Tess as she becomes a Mother and we know she will truly be a good one.

Please be Praying for Mammaw Rosie as she was put in a Nursing Facility yesterday to help get her strength back, she has been sick for a little while and just needs some help getting back on her feet. She is just a few miles down the road and we can go see her at any time. Please just lift her up in Prayer.

We got good news yesterday not just on Shelby Ann, but On Jaden as well!

Shelby's Fingers are going to heal it is just going to take a long time they said, and Jaden his incision looks great and he don't have to go back until August.

4th of July was Awsome! Family, Friends and all the Good food what more could you ask for?

We celebrated with our Church Family this year and My husband Pat was in charge of all the fireworks and man did he and his helpers do a good job. The show was GREAT..

Shelby and Nate could not wait till it got dark all day, and then of course it rained all day so we were scared we would have to cancel but the Lord let the rain hold off for about an hour just long enough to set them off.

We was so glad that Kacey, James and Jaden got to come out "it was like old times except we had a lil angel with us".

Just Could Not Wait!

The kids just could not wait until the 4th so last night we had to let a little bit of the Fire works off! Shelby and Nate had their Friend Caleb over to help them. As you can see Shelby has her hand bandaged up, she was going to pick up one of the little poppers as Caleb went to stomp it and he got her two fingers and smashed them real bad, but she was a good sport and quit crying
to finish the fireworks.

Shelby Ann Participated in the LaRue County Youth All Girl Softball league this year and Loved it! She was tired of being the only girl, in her second grade class and not to mention the whole elementary! She attends a small christian school where we attend church. Well need less to say she did GREAT..... Pat and I are so proud of her she was the hind catcher and she also played 2nd base. The team has a great season and only lost three games but there was one team that they had been the only ones to beat and that was THE TUFF GIRLS.

Then the tournament came and in the final game they had to face this team again, AND WON!! Score was 11-5. Shelby had gotten three out at 2nd base and three big runs it was a heck of a game. the whole Family was there and of course her favorite Aunts and uncles was there to cheer her on.
